Hello! I am Diana

Welcome to my studio!

Art has been woven through my life since childhood, growing up in Puerto Rico, where the intensity of tropical light and color, the rhythms of daily life, and a deep sense of place and memory shaped how I see and make.
That early immersion in color and cultural identity led me to study graphic design and dive deep into art education. I spent over 20 years nurturing creativity in others as an art and Spanish teacher in schools across different communities before following my heart into full-time art making.

My studio practice flows between textile design, illustration, painting, and printmaking. Each medium informs the others, creating a connected body of work that reflects both my love of teaching and my ongoing exploration of creative expression — one still rooted in the color, memory, and cultural identity.
